These escutcheons from the early 1910s boast beautiful Art Nouveau detailing, and would add an elegant touch to any door. These are part of Yale & Towne's "Vigo" design line, featuring sweeping vines and leaves, along with subtle swirls and linework that exemplifies the Nouveau period. One of these escutcheons has a noticeably darker patina on the front than the other, letting you pick which one will best match your home!
Condition: Good antique condition. Significant surface wear and patina, commensurate with age, and the lighter one is slightly warped below the opening for the doorknob, but not in a way that should affect function. Each is stamped on the back with Yale & Towne's logo, "VIGO," and numbers which have been partly cut off by the keyhole - "3856 870 [?]62 609." Sold individually, mounting hardware not included.
