These antique glass doorknobs likely didn't originally come as a set, but they're very similar in shape and size, and we think they go together beautifully! The copper-colored knob has a subtle sparkle to it, while the silvery knob is made of highly reflective "silvered" glass, coated with mercury for a bright mirror finish. Each knob has a brass base, with a nickel plating on the mercury glass knob amplifying the two-tone effect.
Condition: Excellent antique condition. Each base shows surface wear commensurate with age, as well as a small amount of paint. Both knobs show faint mold lines, and there is mild desilvering on the mercury glass knob, but there are no chips or cracks in the glass. Knobs come threaded on a 20 TPI spindle, and each knob has a set screw.
Dimensions:
- Diameter of knobs: 2"
- Outer diameter of collars: 3/4"
