A large key consisting of a square-ended tube for the key, and a very large and ornate handle with a fish-like creature surrounded by designs shaped like cresting waves. The whole thing was originally a brassy gold tone, but you can now clearly see silver-colored metal showing through in many places.

Grandfather Clock Key

This brass-plated clock key was likely used for a large grandfather clock, and appears to be a vintage reproduction of an antique style. The classic Victorian depiction of a dolphin, while maybe not accurate, is certainly elegant and eye-catching! If you don't happen to have a giant clock that's missing its key, this would also make a lovely decorative piece, or perhaps an addition to your curios cabinet.

Condition: Good vintage condition. Brass plating is rather worn, as are some of the details, such as the "dolphin's" scales, and there are some small dings here and there along the surface. Not magnetic, likely brass-plated nickel.
