Furniture Paw Leg Caps - Set of 2

These brass paw-style caps for furniture legs clearly take inspiration from the style popularized by Duncan Phyfe in the 19th century, though these are rounder in profile and rather simplified in design. This pair would be lovely ends for the front legs of a cozy armchair, or could see a new life as a pair of bookends or shelf decor!

Condition: Good antique condition. They are heavily coated in patina, and have some verdigris on the insides. The undersides are also heavily scratched, presumably from use. Sold as a pair, mounting hardware not included.
