Cased Milk Glass Ruffled Lamp Shades

$75.00

These lamp shades are made of milk glass with clear edges, a style Fenton is known for having sold as their "Silver Crest" line, and they have beautiful hand-crimped ruffles to add an extra pop of elegance. To be honest, based on the thickness and texture of the fitter on each shade, we suspect that these shades may actually be bowls with the bottoms cut out - but they still fit a standard 2 1/4" fitter, so however they came to be, they're just fine by us!

Condition: Overall great vintage condition, with only some minor chipping around the fitter of each piece. The exception is one badly cracked ruffle on one of the shades - see last photograph for degree of damage. The other shade shows no major damage, but does have a moderate pink/purple tint to it when unlit, though it doesn't have a strong impact on light passing through the shade.

Dimensions:
- Fitter diameter: 2 1/4"
- Overall diameter: 7"
- Overall height: 3 1/2"
