American Standard Hot & Cold Faucet Taps

$175.00

| /

These simple, timeless sink taps were created by the Standard Sanitary Manufacturing Corporation, before they became American Standard in 1967. These taps have been rebuilt at some point, and their hefty nickel-plated brass construction has stood the test of time with only moderate wear. If you need to replace the bathroom taps in your vintage home, but don't want anything that looks too new, these are the taps for you!

Condition: Decent vintage condition. There are some scratches on the base of each handle and spout, and some spots where the plating has flaked off, primarily on the undersides of the handles and spouts. The cold tap is also a little squeaky if turned past the closed position, but otherwise each handle turns well and the threads are in decent condition.

Stamp on the back of the spout reads "Standard" MADE IN USA, and there is a second logo stamp on the underside of each handle that we've been unable to identify. Sold as a set of two, with one hot tap and one cold tap.
