Nashua/Lockwood Complete Mortise and Lock Hotel Set

This dazzling 1880's set was made by Nashua right around the time they were bought by Lockwood, and it's truly an amazing piece! Decorated in the Victorian Eastlake style, it would be a beautiful accent to any home, and it's in shockingly good condition for its age. A rare find!

Condition: Excellent antique condition. There is a fair amount of patina, as expected with age, but the surface details are crisp and clean. As this was a hotel set, the key provided ONLY works on the bottom hole. There is no key for the upper hole, but it is extraneous and will work and lock fine without a second key. The mortise has been rebuilt, and this a complete door knob set with two knobs, one escutcheon, one rosette, a locking mortise, and a key. The only thing we do not have is a strike plate, but if you don't have one that will fit, please reach out and we can see if we have something that'll do the trick!
