vintage-hamilton-beach-model-d-mixer
Vintage Hamilton Beach Model "D" Mixer With Uranium Glass Bowls

This mid-century mixer from Hamilton Beach is a truly rare find, and comes with a fun bonus for collectors - the bowls are made of uranium custard glass! It may not be quite our usual fare, but it was brought to us by a customer, and how could we possibly say no? We've plugged it in to test it, and unfortunately it's not currently working, but anyone who's willing to repair it would find themselves with a gorgeous piece of hardware that's a stand mixer, hand mixer, and juicer, all in one!

Condition: Decent vintage condition. Doesn't turn on when plugged in right now, and has some mixed metal oxidation on the plate on the bottom of the stand, as well as some damage to the feet, spots of flaking paint, and a couple of small chips on the glass bowls However, all parts come off and go back on where they're supposed to, and it comes with original beaters, bowl, stand, and juicer setup. Has a label on one side stating that it's the Hamilton Beach Model "D" and giving patent and electrical information, as well as the serial number "OM 527612." Bottom of glass mixing bowl is also stamped "Hamilton Beach Racine, Wisconsin."

These glow photos were taken under 365nm UV light but we also confirmed that it glows under 395nm UV.

Dimensions (with juicer)
- Overall height (with juicer): 16"
- Overall height (without juicer): 13 1/2"
- Overall length: 14"
- Overall width: 8"
- Diameter of mixing bowl: 6 3/4"
- Height of mixing bowl: 4 1/2"
- Diameter of juicer bowl: 7"
- Height of juicer bowl (including funnel): 4 3/4"
- Diameter of base plate for mixing bowl: 7 1/4"
- Length of cord: 5'

SKU: C-007-26
LOC: C1
