This piece has been treated with a clearcoat of some sort, which has protected most of the surface. However, there is a portion of the toothbrush holder where the coating has come off, and there is some verdigris and decay in that area, as can be seen in the last photo. The \"arms\" all screw on, for easy storage and repair, and there is also a screw hole on the bottom, with a removable set screw on the front. We suspect there used to be a soap dish attachment as well, which sadly has been lost to time, but that doesn't mean it can't still be useful!
