Although this shape became quite popular in the 1940's, these knobs are the early front runners of the style. A totally smooth face is our first clue (unlike the great Dexter sets with a raised circle on the face). Secondly, the burly cast bezel denotes the higher quality and price point of these knobs. These likely graced a home on very architectural cutting edge. Sold as a pair with rosettes and spindle.
Condition: Good antique condition. Some wear from age.
Dimensions:
Overall width of knobs: 2 1/4"
Projection from rosette to end of knob: 2 1/4"
Diameter of rosettes: 2"
