Lamps
One of the easiest ways to add accent lighting is to grab a lamp.  Lamps are perfect for providing a little extra light as well as being a fun piece of home decor.  A lamp can also be an excellent solution for rooms with minimal overhead lighting.  Unlike permanently wired lights, a lamp is portable which can be very handy for anyone who likes to study, read, or work in a variety of locations.  Lamps also make excellent gifts.
