"We guarantee all of our merchandise -- you have to be happy, or we're not!"
 
We believe our web site is an extension of our store and we want you to feel as comfortable here as you would if you came in.  We have an open return policy; if you get it and it's not what you want for any reason will we accept a return (except on some special orders).  We are always happy to discuss your order on the phone, in person, or via email. 

You will not be billed until your merchandise is shippped to avoid any delays between payment and receipt of goods.

Hippo Hardware & Trading Return Policy

Hippo Hardware is dedicated to making sure our customers have the items that they want.  We are willing to offer returns in almost all circumstances.  This is a list of what our company needs in order to return or exchange merchandise:

1)  All returns must include the original receipt within 30 days of receiving the product.

2)  Any item special ordered must be approved by the department.

3)  We are happy to offer either exchange credit or a refund.  Items refunded will have funds returned based on how they were given.  Specifically, if you pay by check, cash, or money order  you will receive a check and if you pay by credit card you will receive a credit on your account.

Here is a brief listing of guidelines for Hippo Hardware Returns

1) Please mail all returns in the original packing if possible.

2) Please alert a Hippo staff member if you are having difficulty installing any item.  We are here to help.

3) We cannot accept back items that have been broken by the customer or in shipping. 

4) We cannot refund shipping charges.
